Get Adobe Flash player

With only a month until graduation, we’re all busy working away at our online portfolios. I’m looking for a job in Flash development, and I’ve been digging through some of my old files and I came across my final project for a term 4 Object Oriented Programming course that I never posted on my blog. Above you can see what I created. The whole thing was created in Flex used the Hype framework. I draw the firefly and tree in Adobe Illustrator and the rest is all generated with code. The background cloud scape is created with perlin noise, and the fireflies’ colour is randomly being fed in from Kuler (a colour palette showcase/generator website). If you hit the refresh button on your browser you’ll see them change colour.
